LivsmedelsFöreningen is an organisation for people with an interest in any part of the value chain of food products, from primary production to retailing. The members are mainly from Sweden and other Scandinavian countries.
Our main mission is to offer our members opportunities for knowledge and competence development in their professional areas within the food industry & trade sector. This is accomplished through:
- Livsmedel i Fokus - a monthly magazine featuring articles and papers related to news, events, trends and development within food industry, trade, research and regulatory areas.
- Livsmedelsdagarna - a yearly two day conference, attracting 300+ participants who gather in Tylösand for a comprehensive program with lectures and presentations by Swedish /International industry and government leaders.
- Company visits/presentations - Every year LivsmedelsFörening organises visits to 6-10 companies with business within the food value chain and food consumer products.
